Privacy policy.

Last updated: September 24, 2026 · Effective: January 1, 2026

This privacy policy describes how Real Wisconsin Cheese Curds (“we,” “our,” or “the site”) collects, uses, and shares information from visitors to realwisconsincheese.com. We collect very little. What follows is the full accounting.

01 / Information

What we collect.

When you visit this site, our web host automatically records basic technical information that is standard for almost all websites: the date and time of your visit, the pages you view, the browser and operating system you are using, and your IP address.

If you sign up through one of our email forms, we collect the email address you provide. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the type of inquiry you select, and your message.

We do not collect: your name unless you provide it, your phone number unless you provide it, your home address, your payment information (we do not sell anything), your social media accounts, or other personally identifying information beyond what you choose to share with us.

02 / Use

What we use it for.

We use basic technical information to keep the site running, secure, and working well. We do not sell or rent your information.

Email addresses submitted through our email forms, along with the name and email address submitted through our contact form, are shared with an affiliated Wisconsin cheese company and added to an email list it maintains. It may use that list to contact you about Real Wisconsin Cheese Curds and Wisconsin cheese. You can ask to be removed at any time through our contact form or by using the unsubscribe link in any email you receive. Contact form messages themselves are stored on this site so we can review and respond to them; the content of your message is not added to that list.

03 / Cookies

Cookies.

This site uses only the cookies needed for basic functionality. We do not use analytics, advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies, and the site does not display advertising.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some site functionality but will not prevent you from reading any of our content.

04 / Services

Third-party services we use.

We use the following third-party services to operate the site. Each maintains its own privacy policy that applies to the information it processes:

  • Web hosting (Flywheel / WP Engine), which serves this site and processes the technical information described above.
  • Email list (Klaviyo), which stores the email addresses and names submitted through our forms.
  • Fonts (Google Fonts), which delivers the site’s typefaces. When your browser loads a font, Google receives your IP address.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising-network trackers.

05 / Your rights

Your rights.

You have the right to know what information we have about you, to request that we delete it (including removal from that email list), and to opt out of future collection where applicable. To make a privacy-related request, submit our contact form and let us know what you are requesting. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a resident of California, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), you may have additional rights under those laws. We honor applicable privacy rights for residents of those jurisdictions.

06 / Updates

Changes to this policy.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, primarily to reflect changes in the services we use or in applicable law. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
